Description

The instruction for young people in Christian Doctrine is divided into two Sections: the Short Catechism is intended primarily for children who have not yet made their First Communion, and the Major Catechism is for young people already instructed in what is taught in the Short Catechism. This is preceded by a few pages of first notions of Catechism for young children of a tender age who, either at home or in kindergartens, are beginning to learn the first rudiments of the Faith. The Major Catechism is followed by an Instruction on the principal feasts of the Church and a very brief compendium of the History of Religion, so that nothing is lacking for the youth in what is suitable for their religious instruction.
